What's the product made of?
We don’t settle for cherry pickers or plumbers when it comes to the stuff we use to print our designs on – we want the Gordie Howe of adhesive material to make sure that you get the best of the draft. We use DRYTAC mounting adhesives, a quality material that’s thick and durable to life’s wears and tears. DRYTAC is known for being as high performance as an NHL hockey team, designed to stay strong indoors for a year or more on standard smooth floor and wall surfaces. Aggressive like a breakout in the third period, DRYTAC will stay on the surface of your wall and not move until you remove it. If you do have to, don’t worry! This material gets no penalties for peeling the paint off your walls with careful removal.
Custom Orders?
If you like what you see, but want to add a little personal flair, we can do that! Our star forward and captain, Terrace, is a seasoned veteran in all things print and design with over 10 years experience in the industry. His wingman, Kelly, brings another 10 years experience to the table creating custom graphics for our customers. So, when it comes to custom graphics, shapes, sizes, etc. Kelly and Terrace have your back! These two can do just about anything you set your mind to: add a team logo to a jersey, replicate a picture of an arena, or even make the photograph of your kid playing hockey into a decal! Are vinyl decals compatible with my walls or paint?
Vinyl decals will stick to most flat, smooth surfaces like a tongue on a hockey rink. This means walls, windows, metal, glass, mirrors, etc. will work wonders with our decals. However, like spilled hot coffee on ice, our wall decals do NOT work with the following:
- Medium to heavily textured walls (the more textured, the more time it will take to rub the vinyl onto the wall)
- Brick, paneling, cement block, etc.
- Many of the newer no/low VOC paints
Before you commit, you can order a Product Sample to check and see if our product will stick to your walls like Connor McDavid to a biscuit.
Can I remove your wall decals?
If you’ve made a mistake and need to backpedal, no worries! Our wall decals will not peel the paint of your walls with careful removal. Our wall decals work well for both renters and homeowners because they come off when you are ready for them without damaging your wall or other non-porous (holey) surface. To remove, get a grip on the corner of each decal using an application/removal tool or tweezers and gently pull off the decaling. If you've had the decaling on the wall for a long period of time, we advise softening them up carefully with a hair dryer. If it works to help melt a hockey puck out of the ice, it’ll unstick the wall decal panel from your wall!
Are your wall decals reusable?
While during installation, our wall decals can be removed and reapplied. However, after some time has passed (say a few months) the decal may not keep it’s good looks when it’s removed. A misshapen wall decal can be the norm. However, we use DRYTAC when printing
Do the wall decals come in one large roll?
Nope! Unlike a good NHL team, these items will come individually. That means if you want 3 sections of boards, they'll arrive in 3 separate pieces. While it makes for a poor defense in the rink, it makes the decals so much easier to apply.
How much is shipping?
Shipping options include FREE shipping on orders over a certain amount. We also have low standard and expedited shipping rates. To see your shipping costs, add our peel and stick hockey decals and wallpaper into your cart and proceed to the checkout page. You'll see your shipping charges tallied on step 2.
Where does the product come from?
Our peel and stick hockey decals and wallpaper are designed and printed right here in Canada - in Edmonton, AB, to be precise. We use local couriers to get your product to you fast, at an affordable rate.
How is the product shipped?
Before we ship your order, we do the following checks:
1) visually inspect the contents,
2) ensure safe/secure packaging
3) include a packing slip.
While it's not as barn-burning as a real hat trick, we hope you'll appreciate our quality control hat trick standards!
